KELSEA HODGKIN

Kelsea /kɛlsʌ/ has been a speech-language pathologist since 2019, following her undergraduate and graduate studies at Indiana University. She has primarily worked in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings, where she developed a passion for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) while helping patients experiencing acute trauma, neurodegenerative diseases, and neurological events. Currently, Kelsea assists speech therapists in customizing AAC solutions for individuals across the lifespan with complex communication needs, aiming to enhance communication and quality of life. She is also dedicated to empowering fellow SLPs to become more knowledgeable confident in AAC practices.
